In a visual metaphor for shared moments and interactions, the 16th-century cloister of Palazzo Durini, the historic home of Corneliani in Milan, transforms into a celebration of life and camaraderie among men - a dance of symbolic gestures representing the various ways they connect and greet one another.
The special performance, curated by choreographer Kate Coyne – the Artistic Director of the Central School of Ballet in London - stars three professional dancers embodying the rhythm of life as envisioned by Corneliani. Meanwhile, models walk the outer platform to present a complete vision of the new season's looks.
New proportions reinterpret the Corneliani aesthetic with a sharper, more defined look, evident in the slim, tailored cuts of trousers worn beneath the relaxed, generous lines of outerwear and knitwear.
Variations of volume get closer and switch in a sartorial symphony that highlights traditional Italian wools such as gabardine, tricotine, and cover armatures - carefully selected to enhance the identity and impact of silhouettes through their rich, three-dimensional textures.
