His work is currently on show at the National Portrait Gallery in London as part of The Face: Culture Shift exhibition, as he was one of the magazine’s regular photographers. As well as The Face, Chessum has photographed for Vanity Fair, Arena, Esquire, New York Magazine and many others. He specialises in portraits and has pictured many of the world’s most famous names from David Bowie, Robert De Niro and The Strokes to Barack Obama, Nicole Kidman and Rupert Murdoch.
